Job Term: Term Time Only No of Hours: 32½ hours (8:30-3:30 with ½ hour break for lunch)
We require experienced and motivated Teaching Assistants and Midday Supervisors. Due to our expansion we have a number of vacancies, including Teaching Assistants with Early Years and Foundation stage experience. The successful candidate will be highly proactive, committed to going that extra mile to ensure pupils achieve the best they possibly can.
We are a five form entry academy that believes strongly in developing children’s interdependent skills through a learning challenge curriculum. OFSTED have graded us as being outstanding in all areas (September 2012).
This is an ideal role for graduates seeking to gain school experience prior to applying for a School Direct teacher training place in the future.

- Hours: 26 hours 40mins per week - Teaching Assistant Hours: 5 hours 50mins per week - Midday Supervisor

Serving around 600 pupils, West Thornton Primary Academy is a co-educational primary school in Croydon, South London. Founded in 1896, the school provides places for children aged 4-11 and became an academy in 2011.
