Green End Primary wishes to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to work in and out of class to support an individual pupil one to one with Special Educational Needs relating to learning. This is a temporary contract to 31st August 2018.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a school setting with pupils with Special Educational Needs. They will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents. 

Strong literacy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.

A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential. Hours of work will be 8.45am – 2,45pm with 40-minute lunch break from 12.15 – 12.55 each day.

Level 1, Grade 2 £15,639 pro rata, term time only equates to apx £10,036 per annum

This position is subject to 2 professional references and DBS clearance.
