Working Hours: 8.00 – 16.00 (45 minutes for Lunch)

We wish to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant with the potential to further develop our highly successful and highly regarded SEND provision. 

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our ASC resourced provision providing support for students with a diagnosis of ASC throughout their curriculum experience.  You will be a designated ASC Teaching Assistant working with a number of our students within specialised curriculum provision and you will support students in the classroom.

You will be well supported by the SEND and Learner Services Teams who are focused on teaching and learning, and by a comprehensive programme of induction and training to ensure your individual needs are met.

Lostock College is a mixed, secondary modern, Christian secondary school without sixth form situated in Stretford, Manchester. It is a community state school, operating under the Diocese of Manchester in an area with a large amount of selective grammar schools. Affiliated to two teaching alliances, the school works closely with Altrincham Grammar School for Girls and Loreto Grammar School. A smaller than average-sized secondary, it will provide 740 places for students aged 11-16, when fully subscribed.
