2015 GCSE Progress 8 score was significantly positive at +0.23 and the value added score was well above the national average.
Most students are making expected progress in maths and English and the average capped point score across all subjects was above the national average.
Students are well prepared for the next stage of their education with 2016 leaving data showing 96% progressed onto FE courses and 2% onto apprenticeships.
Required as soon as possible; a Teaching Assistant (TA), to work with students with special needs in this culturally rich, mixed comprehensive school. Under the direction of the SENCo the successful candidate will be supporting pupils in the classroom in a variety of subjects, to facilitate their access to the curriculum.
Experience of working with students with ASC, Downs Syndrome or speech and language needs will be of benefit, though not essential. An English, Maths or Science degree or relevant experience is required.
