Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

37 hours per week

The governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and hard working Level 2 Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis. Candidates will need to possess both initiative and sensitivity and be proven effective team members.

Successful applicants will be required to:

• Possess and use appropriate skills to undertake those activities necessary to meet the physical, emotional and educational needs of individuals and groups of children, including those with special needs
• Communicate effectively with adults and children
• Work as part of a team
• Carry out prepared educational activities and programmes of learning
• Assist the teaching staff in the planning, preparation and delivery of work programmes for individuals and groups of children
