The Academy:

Waterhead Academy is an 11-16, non-selective academy for 1500 students. The academy replaced predecessors Breeze Hill and Counthill Schools in 2010, is situated in a state of the art build on the outskirts of Oldham and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The academy is located a 10 minute walk away from the metro link, with 20 minute ride to Central Manchester. The school offers state of the art facilities in a £24 million pound complex and offers a wide range of bespoke teacher and leadership packages for colleagues through our professional partnerships. The Academy also has a key strategic partnership with Manchester United. We have a strong commitment to developing colleagues with the very best professional development and research opportunities.
