We are delighted to invite applications for the post of Teaching Assistant Level 2 SEN for Pioneer House High School part of the Prospere Learning Trust.  The post holder will support specialist teaching staff in the delivery of vocational learning opportunities ensuring that all students are able to make progress within a specialist vocational area as directed by teachers and senior staff.

Pioneer House High School is a school with a unique focus in preparing pupils from age 11 to become independent and productive young adults. Through our engaging applied learning curriculum focus, carefully structured programmes and highly effective teachers Pioneer House provides an outstanding and stimulating educational experience for every student. The role will suit current Teaching Assistants who enjoy working as part of a dedicated team and want to develop their skills in a school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who want to expand their experience in order to progress towards a teaching career.

The post holder will support and promote equality and diversity, safeguarding and child protection awareness within the school; contribute to the development of a culture of mutual support and; share best practice.

The role is full time, term-time only, plus five additional training days. The starting annual salary is £17,224 based on 39 weeks and pro rata hours. The full time equivalent is £20,092
