Incorporating Lunchtime Supervisor role

Myddle is a thriving, friendly village school with 100 pupils on roll. We are looking for a hardworking, flexible and caring person to join our friendly team who is able to support the learning in our upper key stage 2 class of year 5 and 6 children. This position is Grade 5 Point 14 and is Fixed Term until the end of the academic year and incorporates and Lunchtime Supervisor Role which will be paid at Grade 1 Point 8 totaling 32.5 hours per week. It is likely that the position would continue beyond the end of the year if our pupil numbers remain strong.

The successful candidate should be able to offer good subject knowledge and have experience of teaching groups of children and leading interventions.  We are looking for someone with a high level of motivation and initiative and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  You should be willing to work across the whole primary age range, although the job will be with the older children primarily.  Our children are polite, kind and extremely enthusiastic. We have a great team of hardworking staff which we would like you to become part of.

27.5 hours per week for the Teaching assistant role & 5 hours per week for the Lunchtime Supervisor role 

Working pattern; 8:45am to 3.15pm with half an hour lunch

Term time only, Fixed term initially
