Teaching Assistant Level 3

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support our pupils. This will be done through in-class support and working with small groups of students or on an individual basis. The successful candidate will join and support our wider SEN team and also assist in the development, maintenance and use of resources.

The role will suit an enthusiastic and inspirational individual, who holds an NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience. 

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a dedicated team and want to develop their skills in a school environment. This is also a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who wants to gain experience in order to progress towards a teaching career.

The post holder will support and promote equality and diversity, safeguarding and child protection awareness within the school; contribute to the development of a culture of mutual support and; share best practice.

The role is full time, term-time only, plus five additional training days. The post is a Grade 4, and the  starting pro rata salary is £17,224. The full time equivalent is £20,092.
