Tidemill is a haven where children from all backgrounds flourish and we achieve this in a buzzing, multicultural area of South East London. Our children not only achieve excellent results – they sleep over at the Science Museum, surf in Devon, compete at the London Youth Games, are djembe drummers, make their own branded chocolate, exhibit at art galleries, set up blogs and perform Shakespeare at the theatre! They do all this in an award winning building with exceptional facilities.
Tidemill is a National Teaching School and is a centre for teaching and learning. We deliver professional development programmes for teachers including the National Professional Qualifications for leaders, NQT programmes, School Direct and specialist Speech & Language workshops. Many of our teaching assistants have qualified to become Higher Level Teaching Assistants or qualified teachers.
Tidemill Academy is part of the REAch2 Academy Trust, the largest primary-only academy trust in the country which currently has sixty primary academies spread across England.
