About the role 

• Act in accordance with School policies and procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection and behaviour management.
• Assist and participate with the planning and preparation of activities, and in the delivery of local and national initiatives e.g. literacy and numeracy strategy
• Attend relevant INSET staff training sessions and other ad-hoc meetings.
• Supervise pupils in designated areas of the school at breaktimes and lunchtime.
• To provide administrative support including filing, word processing and reprographics work.
• Promote development and learning (physical, emotional, educational and social).
• Support those with special needs. Administer basic first aid in line with training
• Working 30 hours per week over 39 weeks per year on a part time permanent contract
