St James C of E Primary School is a warm, highly successful one form entry primary school with two additional classes, in Muswell Hill – an attractive, leafy part of North London. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our team as a teaching assistant in September 2018.

We are looking for inspiring graduates with a good class honours degree to work alongside senior leaders and class teachers, to accelerate the learning of pupils. 

You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative. You should also be able to demonstrate good behaviour management skills.

This position would ideally suit someone who is considering teaching as career in the future who we can consider supporting joining the School Direct scheme the following year.
