Teaching Assistant

Hours: 32.5 hours a week / 39 weeks per year (Mon – Friday 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.)
Start date: January/February 2022
Duration: Permanent*

We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and dedicated staff team.  You would support classroom teachers in teaching and learning to ensure the highest outcomes for our students and work with individual pupils 1:1 and small groups.  We are looking for candidates with initiative who will make a big impact in the life and learning environment of the school.

The position would ideally suit someone who is calm and patient with the ability to inspire and motivate children. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential as well as the ability to work as part of a team.  *Although this is advertised as a permanent role we are happy to consider candidates who will be starting a Teacher Training programme in September 2022.
