Hours: (Term Time Only – 36 weeks/38 hours per week)
Latymer Upper School is the leading co-educational independent school in London. Our academic mentoring department is renowned for the excellent work they do in supporting pupils in their learning. We are looking for 3 Teaching Assistants to join our team and support 3 pupils on a one-to-one basis.
These pupils are highly academic and independent and need a TA to assist:
- A mobility impaired boy joining - year 7
- A hearing impaired girl – year 9
- A visually impaired boy - year 10
You will be ideally educated to at least A level standard and be able to communicate clearly in English. You will have excellent interpersonal & organisational skills. Experience of working with young people would be an advantage.

Latymer Upper School’s ethos is as strong today as it was almost 400 years ago when The Latymer Foundation at Hammersmith came into being. Our story starts in 1624 when a prosperous lawyer, Edward Latymer, left part of his wealth for the clothing and education of “eight poore boyes” from Hammersmith.
Edward Latymer's vision was to offer his wards a life-changing education that would equip them to flourish in the wider world. This vision remains firmly at the heart of the School - although we now teach rather more than those original eight Hammersmith boys. The Latymer of today consists of a vibrant, co-educational student body of 1,200 girls and boys from all over West London and beyond, and a further 167 pupils at Latymer Prep.
