Teaching Assistant

Park Lane is a Special School for children and young people aged 2-19 with severe and complex learning difficulties. Due to expansion, we require 3 new Teaching Assistants (AAAF 5013).

Hours are flexible. Minimum number of hours required is 27.5 hours per week. Maximum hours per week are 32.5.

We are looking for someone with:

Ø Experience of working in a school

Ø Positive attitude to, and high expectations of, children and young people with severe disabilities.

Ø Ability to work as a team.

Ø Excellent interpersonal skills

Ø Minimum qualification – NVQ Level 2.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post
