Contract Dates - 

If successful, the role will commence immediately and would be day to day supply  

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or 9 -4) as a minimum. You must have relevant experience in an educational setting.

The role 

We are looking to appoint an ambitious and engaged teaching assistant. You would be working in Key Stage Two in a class with around 25 pupils. Within this environment it is required that you have a strong, up to date knowledge of the national curriculum. As a teaching assistant you must be observant and proactive in your approach. You may be working 1:1 with SEND pupils so experience within this area is vital.

Located in Derbyshire, this school has stunning views and a warm community. With around 200 pupils this is a one form entry primary school. Following a ‘good’ review from Ofsted, this school are dedicated to giving children positive learning experiences that promote learning.

Requirements 

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will need as a minimum: 

• Can provide observation, assessment and be able to feedback to Class Teacher.

• Help to keep disruption to a minimum and de-escalate any challenges you do face with your impressively calm, rational approach.

• Be able to work between the hours of 8:30 until 15:30 Mon-Friday

• GCSE English and Maths (A*-C or 9 -4)

• Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. (Preferable but not essential)
