We currently have a vacancy for a teaching assistant to provide academic and pastoral support to our students. The post will be based primarily within the Maths Department, therefore a background or interest in Maths would be preferred.
You will be working:
- As part of a forward thinking team dedicated to its students and to the professional development of staff
- With students who experience a variety of learning, emotional and/or behaviour difficulties and working individually in a supportive environment
The successful candidate will be able to offer good interpersonal skills, possess a flexible approach and work well as part of a team. You must also possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills, including GCSE Grade A*-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Experience of working with children in a school environment would be preferred but is not essential.
