Outwood Grange Academies Trust seeks applications from outstanding applicants with integrity, imagination and energy for this rewarding role.
The role of Teaching Assistant is to promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support, including to those with special educational needs, under the direction of a class teacher and our Inclusion Co-ordinator. Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications or experience, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team.
Working as a Teaching Assistant is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in schools and contribute to the learning of students. The successful candidate needs to be extremely well organised, IT literate and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
As part of the Outwood Grange Family of Schools, you will be offered high quality support and programmes of professional development, which provide many opportunities for colleagues at all levels.
In line with Government guidance, we are currently limiting access to our academy. In some instances, we may use remote processes in place of academy-based interviews and therefore we have set up systems to ensure that alternative options are available via skype/video conferencing wherever possible. Every effort will be made to try and accommodate any specific requirements so that no-one is at a disadvantage.
Understandably, visits to the school may be limited at present, however we are really keen to ensure that you have as much information to proceed with your application as possible, so if you would like a conversation about either the academy or the position please contact Jess Lamplough, HR Assistant on email@example.com and we will be happy to assist.
If you require further information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
For more information and to apply online, please go to: www.outwood.com > Careers. CV’s will not be accepted as part of our recruitment process.
Closing date: Midday on 15 April 2021.
We reserve the right to close advertisements early. Advertisements will therefore close at 12 noon, either on the advertised closing date, or the day the decision has been taken to close the advertisement early.
