We are looking to appoint a resilient and motivated Teaching Assistant to provide 1 to 1 support to a student with ADHD.

This role can be challenging; however, it is ultimately one of the most rewarding Teaching Assistant positions. It will offer an incredible experience for the right individual who will be fully supported by the department. 

Candidates will:

  • have specific experience or knowledge of working with children with ADHD (and challenging behaviour)
  • be confident and friendly in order to ensure that they get on well with the student. 
  • use their own initiative to encourage the student to learn.

The successful candidate will be expected to: 

  • carry out the responsibilities of a level 2/3 Teaching Assistant to the students’ specific needs 
  • be committed to our ethos of high expectations and no excuses with the belief that every child can succeed
  • have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
  • have proven experience of working or the desire to work successfully with students of all abilities
