Charles Warren Academy (CWA) opened on 1st September 2012 and is sponsored by Academies Enterprise Trust (AET).  Our school is situated in the beautiful area of Simpson, surrounded by trees and bordering the canal. We cater for children aged 4-11 years old and we have high expectations for all with an inclusive outlook.

We aspire for CWA to be an inspirational and exciting place to learn where children can achieve their very best. Our children are enthusiastic, hardworking and want to succeed.  Standards continue to rise and the staff work tirelessly to achieve our shared vision and aims!

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in partnership with teaching and other educational support staff.  Experience in early years would be desirable.

You will provide learning support for pupils, working with them as directed by teaching staff within a structured teaching situation or individually as required in accordance with academy policies and procedures.  

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education and will have experience of working with children in a school environment.  Some knowledge of specific learning difficulties and a variety of strategies to support children would be an advantage.
