Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience required for this role is recent experience working with children who have autism and/or complex needs.

Vision for Education are currently working in partnership with a specialist service to recruit several members of staff to take on the role of Teaching Assistant and work within their school based in North Lincolnshire. The Teaching Assistant role will be a full time role with an immediate start, subject to clearance.

The School:

The specialist school caters for young people and adults who have Autism and complex needs. Using a person-centred approach, you will support and work alongside other members of staff to encourage and enthuse service users to promote; life skills, well-being, independence, friendships, relationships and opportunities.

The role:

We are looking to recruit a passionate and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide classroom support to students aged between 8 – 19. The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to work school hours between 8am - 4pm.

For this Teaching Assistant role, experience is essential. You must have recent experience working in a school but training will also be provided. All applicants will receive a telephone interview.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience of working with children, young people and adults who have Autism and complex needs

• A Flexible approach to working

• A friendly, positive and understanding attitude towards children an young people with complex needs
