We are looking for a full-time permanent Teaching Assistant to support the learning of SEND students, so they can become independent learners and achieve their full potential.   

 

Key Purposes of this post: 

1. Support the learning of SEND students 

2. Working with SEND and underachieving students 

3. Working with colleagues across the school 

4. Reviewing progress of SEND students 

5. Meet the professional standards of this post and of Wood Green School 

 

Pay scale: Grade 4 term time only. Actual salary: £12,013

 

Hours:  Up to 28 hours per week, 8.30am-2.50pm. 

 

This role may appeal to someone who would like a career in teaching as well as anyone who would like to further their experience of working with students.

Wood Green School is a mixed, comprehensive, secondary school with sixth form situated in Witney, Oxfordshire. It is an academy converter operating under The Acer Trust, which was co-founded by four Oxfordshire schools: Wood Green School, Chalgrove Primary School, Icknield Community College and Matthew Arnold School. 

Wood Green School provides 1,335 places for students between the ages of 11 and 18 when fully subscribed. It converted to academy status in February 2017.
