Wolvercote is a vibrant village community just to the north of Oxford. This location, with Port Meadow, Wolvercote Lakes, the Oxford Canal and Wytham Woods also on our doorstep, offers unrivalled opportunities for our children. We aim to make the most of these through our learning both in and out of the classroom.

Enrichment activities, and the school's outdoor learning and music provision are effectively woven into the school's curriculum plans  Ofsted 2018

We have a deep commitment to enriching children's learning, improving confidence and self-esteem, and in supporting our pupils to achieve their very best in all aspects of their development. We believe the best way to do this is through Values based Education.

Pupils speak confidently about these values and appreciate that they guide their behaviour and help them to be responsible. Ofsted 2018

The partnership between home and school is vital, with mutual trust and clear communication at the heart of this partnership. As we work together, the advantages for children’s learning are enormous.

Across the school, relationships between staff and pupils are positive and warm. Pupils enjoy coming to school and say their teachers make learning fun. Ofsted 2018
