Permanent Contract


Salary scale Grade 4 Points 7 – 8 

from £10.41- £10.62 per hour 


30 hours per week 

 (Actual annual salary £13,934 - £14,212) 



Our resource centre caters for pupils with Autism.

Please note that this position is currently based in Frome but the Centre will be transferring to St Dunstan’s School, Glastonbury within the 22/23 academic year.



This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for the role.

About Critchill Special School

Critchill School is an establishment which provides education for between 50-60 pupils who are primarily drawn from the Mendip area. All of our pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan and we have a very wide range of abilities within our pupil population. Each pupil’s needs are carefully and individually evaluated, so that within the context of our well-developed and expanding curriculum, all of our pupils can aspire to reach exceptional standards.
