About the school:

• Independent Special Needs school for pupils aged 5-16 who are on the Autism Spectrum (ASC), as well as other learning difficulties. 

• The school has a bespoke, holistic, and pupil-centred curriculum. 

• The school has an on-site team of multidisciplinary therapists as well as a wide range of resources to support pupils daily

• Ofsted rated ‘Good’ School

About the role:

• Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

• To assist and carry out duties as directed by class teacher

• To assist and ensure that students are supported in their personal hygiene and personal care.

• 36 hours a week

• Temp to Perm

Requirements for Teaching Assistant role:

• Previous experience working with students who worked with Special Needs children

• Knowledge of Makaton and willingness to help with Personal Care of students.

• You must have a Grade C or above in Maths & English GCSE and a Level 3 qualification from Sixth-form/College or equivalent.

• Enhanced DBS on Update System or willing to get one

• Right to Work in the United Kingdom

• Be able to provide 2 references
