At Cressey College we are seeking Teaching Assistants, to support and enable students with a range of complex additional needs in our Secondary School. Previous teaching experience is very welcome, but it is not essential.

Our classes are small with no more than 5 students, which enables us to work with our students to meet and support their complex needs. We have a strong focus on improving our students’ academic successes as well as developing personal and social skills.
At Cressey College we are part of Horizon Care and Education Schools group, which enables us to provide a range of ways to help develop our team to strengthen their skills as well as progress within, through:
• Teaching Assistant initial training programme, and extensive on-the-job training
• Level 3 in Education & Training qualification
• Class Leader Development programme
• Teacher Training programme, to become a Qualified Teacher
Our starting salary for teaching assistants is a competitive £18,000 per annum based on 39 weeks of the year.
