Teaching Assistant (SEN)

We are seeking experienced Teachers to join LVS Hassocks at an exciting time in its journey to becoming an outstanding provider for young people on the autism spectrum. The successful candidates will be qualified to degree level and have a teaching qualification enabling them to teach up to A Level. Experience of teaching and supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those who have a diagnosis of autism and associated disorders, is also necessary.

Class sizes are typically no larger than eight students and each class has a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The role demands the application of specialised teaching approaches, systematic planning and record keeping and the management and deployment of support staff as well as good ICT skills.

The successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
