We are currently seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to start immediately within Peterborough. The school is transforming the life chances of its pupils by ensuring that every child can succeed, despite the challenges they may face. The Teaching position is on a temporary, full time basis (5 days per week)

The school are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant, where experience is essential.  The Teaching Assistant will be able to remain positive in what can be a challenging environment. Personality is paramount to this role as it focuses on being able to engaged students. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be able to liaise with senior leaders as well as the students in order to help them believe in themselves and to develop coping strategies.

The Successful Teaching Assistant must:

  • Be Level 2 qualified in Teaching & Learning in Schools or equivalent experience
  • Be Patient, Caring and committed
  • Have the ability to build rapport with the class teachers and children
