Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply support team and to work in a local Specialist educational setting in Huddersfield. This will be a full time 1:1 role working with specific young learners who need support and encouragement fulfilling their daily routine in School.
The school specialises in catering for students with Special Educational Needs and are not in mainstream education as they need additional support on a full-time basis. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant – SEND candidate who is hard working / creative and can adapt fast to situations that can arise. This can be a very challenging yet rewarding role and we are ideally looking for a Teaching assistant who has experience within the last 2 years. Teaching Assistants play an important role in helping to create structure and a positive experience in the students’ academic learning therefore we are looking for a committed, hardworking teaching assistant to join the team.
The successful Teaching Assistant – SEND will have excellent knowledge of working with young learners in similar settings, and ideally will have worked with individuals with special Needs. The desired teaching assistant will be team teach trained however this is not essential as Vision offer regular CPD training.
To be considered for this position you must:
Have experience supporting young learners in similar settings
Have a genuine desire to make a difference in young learners’ lives
Have a passion to help children achieve their full potential
