ABC Teachers are actively looking to recruit quality Teaching Assistants (TAs) for both part-time and full-time work, due to increasing demand in the South Birmingham area. 

We are currently recruiting skilled and committed candidates who have recent experience in a Teaching Assistant role or have a background of caring for children and young adults with SEND, for a variety of placements including supply cover, short term and longer-term assignments.

In registering an interest for this type of position you should be enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team or on your own initiative.

You should be confident in your abilities to support pupils both 1:1 and in small groups who have a variety of Special Educational Needs, these primarily being ASC, Moderate Learning Difficulties, and also additional needs.

All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent, referenceable school based experience within an SEN setting (within the last 5 years).
