Teaching Assistants support the planning, delivery and assessment of the curriculum for students in years 7-11, with a focus on supporting individual named students. They will work in lessons supporting behaviour and the learning of students. The successful candidates will work with students with a broad range of special educational needs and who require support with numeracy and literacy.
Applicants must have a degree and GCSE grade C or better in English and mathematics. Ideal candidates will be graduates who want to gain good school experience before pursuing a career in teaching.
We are looking for enthusiastic and effective people with an ability to adapt and cope with change to complement our team. Applicants require good positive behaviour management skills, the ability to remain calm, excellent literacy and attention to detail. Experience of working with young people would be an advantage.
