We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for this new role, within the mathematics department, to support students with special educational needs to access learning within subject/curriculum areas in the Academy through in-class support with targeted withdrawal.
A Level or equivalent qualifications in mathematics are essential, a degree in mathematics is desirable. Applicants must have a GCSE grade C or better in English and mathematics. Ideal candidates will be graduates who want to gain good school experience before pursuing a career in teaching.
We are looking for enthusiastic and effective people with an ability to adapt and cope with change to complement our team. Applicants require good positive behaviour management skills, the ability to remain calm, excellent literacy and an attention to detail. Experience of working with young people would be an advantage.
