Do you have aspirations to go into Teaching? 

Do you have experience of working with Children or Adults in Education with English as an Additional Language (EAL)?

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work as part of our experienced team. Duties will include: supporting students with EAL in their learning, both in the classroom and one to one. You will have an ability to support students by differentiating work, developing emerging vocabulary and explaining tasks. You will need to be patient, understanding and capable of establishing a good rapport with a wide variety of people, particularly children and teachers. ICT skills required. Previous experience of EAL teaching of qualifications would be an advantage. We are looking to recruit a candidate who would provide a strong and positive role model for children who are new to UK schools.

St Paul's was again judged outstanding in January 2024 and our GCSE results are consistently in the top 10% nationally.
