The Magna Carta School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide support for students to enable them to make good progress - academically, socially and emotionally; working under the guidance of teaching/ senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision to implement agreed work programmes, on a 1:1 basis and in groups, in and out of the classroom.

Visits to the school would be warmly welcomed.
The post holders will be required to work Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, term time plus Inset days. Please note: Inset may include twilight sessions. Hours per day 8.40 am to 3.15 pm
Applications will also be considered to work less than 30 hours per week.
These appointments are fixed term until Summer Term 2022, however, permanent employment may be offered subject to external funding.

The Magna Carta School is an 11-16 academy in the Unity Schools Trust based in Staines-Upon-Thames, with approximately 1100 students on role. The school is a founder member of The Unity Schools Trust and the 1215 Learning Partnership, determined to enhance lives for young people across this area of Surrey.
