Job Details:  

• Grade 4 SCP 15-18,  

• 37 hours per week Term Time plus 5 training days. 

• Starting salary £14537 p.a. based on full time equivalent £17072 p.a. 

• Temporary until July 2018 in the first instance 

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fulfill a Teaching assistant role to compliment the professional work of our teachers to support the general learning or students to raise attainment.  

This specific position is to work in our Inclusion facility which provides a caring and nurturing environment for student with varying SEN needs, predominantly behavioural.  

The job holder would be responsible for the behavior management of a class of up to eight students on a daily basis whilst a specialist teacher delivers lessons. The role also involves monitoring behaviour, attendance and progress and contacting parents on a daily basis.  

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children age 11-18, a strong character, persistence, plenty of enthusiasm, good IT skills and the desire to help make a difference.
