Canary Wharf College Trust was founded in 2011 with one primary school. We have now grown to have two primary schools and our secondary school opened in September 2016. Our founding school is located on East Ferry Road, a quiet setting in the heart of the Isle of Dogs in Tower Hamlets, yet close to Mudchute and Island Gardens DLR, with easy access to Canary Wharf and central London.
We offer a friendly and welcoming community with supportive staff and governors. We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to start in April 2018 or September 2018. We are looking for an individual with a high standard of spoken and written English. Experience, grace, initiative and a sense of humour are essential to be a part of this pioneering free school with an interdenominational Christian ethos.
This role is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to gain school experience before moving into teaching. We have supported Teaching Assistants in the past to gain their qualifications and they are now valued teachers at our school! If you are thinking about potentially doing a PGCE at some point, this would be an ideal route for you.

Canary Wharf College Trust was approved by the Department for Education to open a second Primary School on the Isle of Dogs. This school opened its doors in September 2014 with Reception and Year One children and now grown to have Reception to Year 6.
