JOB TITLE: Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term – subject to funding) 

GRADE:       Grade 4 (Point 6-7) £19,171 - £19,554 (to be pro rata)

RESPONSIBLE TO: SENCO/Head of LDD

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Pupil Progress and Wellbeing, specifically pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities

HOURS OF DUTY: 33.5 hours per week, Term time only + 5 inset days

SCOPE OF JOB

• To provide support for pupils with SEND or learning difficulties and differences, ensuring progress and challenge for all students.

 About Lymm High School

Lymm High School is a non-selective, co-educational, non-denominational secondary academy for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Lymm, Cheshire, and has just under 1,900 students on its roll, including nearly 360 in the sixth form. The school currently has an Ofsted rating of “good”. 

It is believed that Lymm High School was founded roughly 400 years ago. The earliest known reference to the school is in a church document dated 1592, which mentions the "Master of Lymm School".
