Post: Teaching Assistant

Post details: Full Time (32.50hrs), term time only

Salary Scale: AAT Grade 3 pts 4-6, Pro-rata Salary: £14,116 - £14,687, Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £18,993 - £19,698

We are looking to recruit a full time Teaching Assistants to work within our Academy providing a comprehensive learning support service and ensuring students achieve their full potential. You will work within a classroom setting assisting the teacher by supporting the learning of our students through planned and differentiated activities, completing and maintaining records under supervision and promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils.

Enthusiasm, passion and a great sense of humour is essential as is a high level of personal commitment.

The successful candidate will be required to have excellent Maths and English skills – equivalent to GCSE grade C or above. Previous experience in a school setting would be beneficial but is not essential, however the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can engage with young people and build positive relationships.
