About Churchmead  School

Churchmead School is a mixed, 11-16  Church of England School welcoming students of all faiths, situated on a 23 acre green belt site in the picturesque Thames side village of Datchet near Windsor in Berkshire.

We are a comparatively small secondary school in which every student is known as an individual. Our values of Courage, Compassion and Commitment are at the heart of the school.  Churchmead was judged to be a “Good” school by Ofsted in our most recent inspection and we are now keen to extend this progress further as we strive to be Outstanding in every area of school life.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant with experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and/or English as an additional language. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential.  This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

About Churchmead Church of England (VA) School

Churchmead School is a mixed, non-selective, Church of England, voluntary-aided, 11-18 secondary school, situated in Datchet in Berkshire. It is a small school with 412 students on roll. Although the school does not currently have its own sixth form, it collaborates with East Berkshire College and hosts some of their courses on site.
