Job Description

Horizons Specialist Academy Trust consists of five academies and one sixth form across the Tees Valley area serving a population of approximately 550 students aged 5 to 19 with a broad range of learning difficulties.

Mo Mowlam Academy is situated in Grangetown and provides for 66 pupils aged 5 to 16 years who have SEMHD as their identified primary need. Mo Mowlam Academy joined the Trust in April 2019 and is scheduled to move to a purpose built new school in Redcar in the Autumn Term 2020.

We are seeking 3 outstanding, creative and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our team at Mo Mowlam Academy. The right candidate will need to be inspirational with high expectations of our children and themselves. Previous experience of working with students with SEMHD would be desirable but not essential.

Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential requirements of this post.
