This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Teaching, Learning and Assessment Coach to lead high quality professional development, training and mentoring for teaching staff and curriculum colleagues at Newcastle College to drive forward the quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment.


We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a proven track record in the effective and efficient organisation and delivery of high quality training programmes.


You will have a strong track record as a practitioner, with the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of researching and effectively implementing new ideas and strategies to develop your own practice and the development of colleagues. 


The improvement and enhancement team will ensure professional development supports the experience and successful outcomes of our students and is built on current research and effective practice in teaching, learning and assessment. The approach adopted by the Teaching, Learning and Assessment coaches will contribute to a motivated, respected and effective teaching workforce that is fully engaged in their professional development.


You will collaborate with teachers and their line managers, working under the direction of the Head of TLA Improvement and Enhancement, to provide targeted development for teachers and student-facing colleagues, delivering a high quality professional learning experience focused on positive impact on student experience and progression.
