Teacher Support Assistant for ESOLY

Location: East Ham and Stratford Campus

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until July 2023



The Young ESOL area is a diverse, unique and innovative department that is rapidly expanding and looking for talented, inspiring and enthusiastic staff to join the team. 


You will deliver a high-quality teaching and learning support to young adult learners with ESOL needs following the lockdown and time away from the classroom to enable them to catch up and achieve their ambitions in relation to preparing for language skills development, self-confidence and next steps into further study. You will support the Math/IT needs of Young ESOL students, many of them are pre-literate and with low levels of Digital literacy and Maths in remote lessons and in face-to-face classes.


Successful candidate will hold CELTA Level 5 qualification, at least Level 2 in English and Maths. They must have knowledge and demonstrate experience of working with young (16-18) learners.
