Bury College is a large Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to full time, part time and apprenticeship students each year.  The college currently works with a range of local partners, including high-school, employers and voluntary organisations.

We are now welcoming applications for a Team Leader in Mechanical Engineering.  As Team Leader you will co-ordinate the teams’ efforts to deliver a cohesive programme across Engineering courses. You will be expected to contribute to curriculum development including reviewing and evaluation of the relevant programmes. You also will monitor performance on courses in area of responsibility and instigate action plans as appropriate and develop strategies for maximising success rates and, where appropriate, value added.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 Apprenticeship or HNC level in Engineering, have experience of successful teaching on Engineering courses, or similar and hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills.
