£23,584 - £25,165 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a successful and friendly Prince’s Trust team within the Faculty of Foundation Studies. Successful applicants are likely to have had experience of working with a range of students with varied educational backgrounds and behavioural issues and must be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.
 

We are seeking a forward-thinking and highly motivated Team Leader to teach a bespoke NEET student course. You will be expected to undertake teaching, mentor a group, lead curriculum development, liaise with employers and work towards our community initiatives. Recruitment and marketing of this programme is a key element of this post. 

Candidates with qualifications current in the Outdoor Education field would also be most welcome. 

 You will be able to demonstrate recent experience of working with and motivating disengaged young people and have a working knowledge of the current NEET field in teaching.  A teaching qualification is desirable or the willingness to work towards one.

A flexible approach and excellent organisational/ interpersonal skills are required. A sound communicator, your administrative skills will be strong along with good problem solving skills. You will be an effective team leader able to develop and disseminate best practise within the team and faculty.
 

If you have the passion and enthusiasm for teaching and learning, and enjoy working with young people, this could be the post for you.

The role involves accompanying groups of students onto Dartmoor as part of a residential 3 times per year.
