South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint a Technical Support Assistants for Design and Technology to start January 2022. 

The role will support the Design and Technology department by providing and preparing all the necessary resources required for practical lessons, along with providing hands-on support for pupils during lessons. This will include setting up and clearing away practical equipment and maintenance and stock control of departmental resources. A knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations will be essential, along with experience of setting up equipment and co-ordinating practical risk assessments. 

The position would suit an individual who enjoys working within a classroom/workshop environment. The role will involve some lifting and manual handling of equipment and resources. Practical knowledge of setting up and maintaining equipment and machinery is essential.

We have an outstanding programme of personal development and extra-curricular activities and in 2016 we were rated as the third best state school for sport.
