We are searching for a part-time Technician to join our Expressive Arts team from 6 January 2020 on a permanent basis.

18 hours pw including 5 hours worked flexibly to support school performances, term-time only. Hours to be worked over 3 or 4 days to be agreed on appointment.

We are looking for:

A Technician to provide support for the Expressive Arts Faculty. You will be interested in working with the sound desk and lighting, and have an understanding of audio and lighting functions including installing and connecting microphones, cabling and Bluetooth to ensure that internal and external productions run smoothly. You will be keen to work with and share your knowledge with students looking to gain experience in this area. We are seeking applicants with good organisational ability. Full training is available for the right person.

About St Bartholomew's School

St Bartholomew's School was founded in 1466 and is proud of its ancient tradition.  It is now an 11-18 comprehensive school of over 1975 students with a Sixth Form of 625, serving Newbury and a wide area of West Berkshire and the Hampshire/Wiltshire borders, with modern buildings and outstanding facilities.
