Technician for Science (particularly Physics)

An excellent opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic scientist, with a particular interest in physics, and the skills to support with practical work in the science department as required. The post is full-time for term time only, with 10 additional days during holiday periods by negotiation. Attendance at our Saturday Open Morning (usually September), from 9.00 am to 1.00pm is also required.   Part-time (4 days equivalent) will be considered for the right candidate.  

Pay will be negotiated and based on experience. DHS has its own pay scale.  There is an entitlement to 20 days paid annual leave, to be taken outside of term time, and 8 paid Bank Holidays, when the school is closed.  

The School has rigorous child protection procedures in place and the person appointed will be asked to supply information confirming identify/qualifications and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
