Job overview

The Chelsea Centre for the Creative Industries is seeking a Technician to join the expanded technical support team for this specialist centre.  The Technician in Art will support the Art curriculum area of Fine Art and   Creative Discovery alongside working collaboratively with the technical team to provide skills development across all creative programmes at the Chelsea Centre.

The Technician team will coordinate the expanding technical resources of the centre and support the access to these from a wide range of students and staff together with providing technical instruction in partnership with the academic teams.

The team will be led by a Senior Technician, which can be applied for alongside this role.  This additional level of responsibility will include line management of the technical team, liaison with academic teams and development of the learning environment reporting to the Centre Principal.

You will have a relevant undergraduate degree and demonstrable expertise in the fields outlined for the role.  You will be thrilled by the opportunity to work in a specialist centre, collaborating with a community of creative individuals.
