We are seeking to recruit a talented, experienced and hardworking Technician. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, Technicians and wider Professional Services team, the postholder will be responsible for providing an excellent technical service across all areas of the school, with a specialism in Science to A level.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Working under the direction of the Senior Technician and teachers to ensure appropriate resources are prepared and rooms set up as required in advance of all lessons and enrichment events
  • Working closely with the Facilities Team to ensure the smooth running of school events and activities
  • Providing technical support for teachers and pupils
  • Assisting in the maintenance of equipment and resources
  • Working with the Senior Technician to plan resource needs in advance, monitoring stock and preparing orders
  • Providing assistance with practical demonstrations in class
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technological and relevant legislative information and ensuring full compliance with the School’s Health & Safety policy, carrying out risk assessments and producing risk management plans where required

This is a permanent, full-time position but there is the option to work term time only.
