MacKillop College is situated on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW. Our College provides a learning and teaching environment that encourages striving for excellence for over 1100 students. Remuneration: NSW and ACT Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2017

Criteria:

  • Applicants need to be willing and able to participate in and support the religious dimension of St Agnes’ Parish Secondary Schools. https://stagnesparish.org.au/
  •  Ability to teach Stage 4 Mandatory Technology
  •  Ability to teach a range of Stage 5 and Stage 6 courses desirable
  •  Applicants must be enthusiastic and be willing to work in a team and add value to our already dynamic teaching faculty.
  •  Applicants must hold a current NSW Working with Children Check and NESA number
  •  Identified in your cover letter and your Resume must include three listed referees.
  •  Applicants must register with the Diocese of Lismore Catholic Schools Office if their application proceeds to employment.

MacKillop College caters for students from Years 7 to 12, forming part of St Agnes' Parish Secondary Schools.  The school offers excellence in teaching and learning, spiritual formation, pastoral care, sport and creative arts; Our highly qualified and dedicated teams are committed to giving all students the opportunity to achieve academic and career goals.

The school has a variety of facilities including Physiology and Anatomy Labs,   a Creative and Performing Arts Centre  and Indoor Multi Purpose Centre. Learning takes place within sophisticated technological based classroom learning.  The College also offers a Marine and Aqua Technology program.

Curriculum

The College follows the curriculum as mandated by the New South Wales Board of Studies. Mackillop College has a strong tradition of high academic success of graduating cohorts. Students also participate in a Religious Education program as prescribed by the diocese to promote the teachings of the Catholic faith.
